There's something about jogging in the morning that makes your day better :)
I did 2.8 this morning in my jogging class (YES, a jogging class! I enrolled in a jogging classs! Whenever I tell people, they're like "You're in a jogging class? + *weird skeptical look thinking 'can't she just jog on her own?'*) Anywayy...we did a nice route that went around a shady park. I should probably bring my iPod though...I'd like to listen to some music whilst jogging...
Hopefully my stretches afterward will prevent the soreness because on Wednesday I have a fitness test with push-ups, sit-ups, and running on the track...
Even after a week and a half of having my dorm, I'm still slowly unpacking and bringing things from my house every weekend in a humongous suitcase (which will be switched to just a duffel bag once I get everything moved) It's kind of weird having this room because the positioning of everything is the opposite of my last room but i guess it's alright.....
This past weekend was pretty awesome-ular because:
Saturday was Revo and my golly, it was another great turn-out despite our late promoting...hehe. At first, there weren't a lot of people, but later on I noticed that almost all of the seats were filled up! Praise God for that!
Post-Revo, we went to Denny's, of course and it was kind of funny because I seemed out of place at the table I was originally sitting at...so I moved...and we ended up talking about some funny things and then trying to see who could cry on the spot with a single tear rolling down, which Alberto won eventually.
Post-Denny's, I started my HW while watching PLANET EARTH :D AWESOME GREATNESS! I love that series! After realizing the time, I went to bed and woke up two hours later to get ready for church.............
Sunday! Interesting message and we had foretold some things the night before :P. We sat in the all members church meeting after the service.......it was hot.
Okay, well..I must get back to....sandwich. :)

para fwhaaat?
So I was browsing the news online...and found that Jim of the Halpert, John Krasinski, is engaged to Emily Blunt. Blehh. What happened to Pam? :P
I'm watching disc four of Planet Earth and it's about seasonal forests and the oceandeep :)
Also, I'm going to start my Chem 111 class homeword: Nutrition & Health. It's a pretty interesting class and I'm actually excited for it! Yayyyyyy.
I'm tired from spending a whole day at work...but I guess it was alright...
Anywhoo, I'm waiting for my laundry to finish asunder!

Uno Mas
One more day to go for the week :) No class, but work all day tomorrow...I guess it's alright. It has been quite an interesting week thus far...mostly because I was worried about dropping and adding classes and I'm still waitlisting for one. Sucks because I had to drop my ONLY class for my major this semester: Art History B, due to my Korea trip causing me to miss the first exam. I talked with the professor about it and she told me that even if I aced the two other exams and writing portion, I would still fail :(. So I dropped it. I'm taking 3 GE classes, and 2 miscellaneous classes. I think my stay at CSUF may be prolonged......not good news to my parentablos. I think they'll understand...
Another thing about this week: I have ordered a total of three orders of books for this semester because I had to drop and switch into a new class and get the books for that one. Actually for the third order I will have to go to Little Professor nearby to buy two books.
So I met my roommates last week, or at least two of the three and they're very nice and both are younger than me :(. One is a freshman, the other is a sophomore. The third...well...I have no clue but she's not really a talker and her stare is scary. Anywho, I have to do reading assignments and practice sets and study questions AND I have to have coffee before two of my classes because MAN, I fall asleep like none other. I feel bad too because I think my teacher saw me dozing off while he was talking.... :/
Oh yeah, I'm typing from work! :O My boss left for the day and it's just me and another co-worker...and after switching the online radio from metallica (because of my boss) to Muse, I started a new work order (which I'm not too sure about) and have been typing on this ever since! Songs played on my random radio list on Pandora were:
Knights of Cydonia - Muse
Some song by Radiohead
When You Were Young - The Killers
Say it Ain't So - Weezer
Say it ain't sooooohoaohhohh
I'm pretty excited for tomorrow because that's when I get to go back to Murrieta! :) I'm probably arriving late though :( That traffic is a pooper. Oh yeah! I read that Muse was making their very first U.S. television performance at the VMAs and they're playing a separate venue just for the fans, who can request free tickets to go! But of course, there is a catch when you live here in California------it's in New York. And it falls on my Dad's birthday haha....so I guess 'm not going (not like I ever was). See, that's where the ability to teleport would come in handy...I could use it to buy a gift for my Dad, celebrate his birthday and then go to New York and listen to a cool concert! Kuya and I have talked about the whole "teleport" thing after watching Jumper. We both agreed that it would be awesome to have hehe.
AW MAN! Another other thing! It's been confirmed that my mom and I will be going to Korea in September to see my bro! I wish my dad could go too though... :(. I can't wait! I'm kind of worried about missing my classes, but I'm not missing any tests, so that's okay, and I think some of my teachers will understand and help work something out.
Dag yo, this is a long blog! I guess it's because I haven't typed in a while...and plus I don't reeeally have work to do...because I don't know how to do it and my boss is gone. More songs:
Deadstar (Live) - Muse
Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand
Anyway...I better get back to.....things.
Til' later!

Huh.
Okay, so I used the word "quaint" in the wrong context.
:)
Anyway
I finally received my financial aid for the semester (a loan) and I can buy my textbooks and parking permit now! (Just days before school starts...) AND, I dropped from waitlist #15, to waitlist #11 in a matter of two-three weeks! Huzzaaah...hopefully I can get that class!
Henceforth
I actually started drawing on my Wacom tablet again...I guess I got some alright stuff down...I dunno...it's been more like doodlies than actual pieces. I shall post some at the end mayhaps.

Today was pretty cool...
- My Dad, Tito Bernie and his brother installed a new/used fridge which is cooler than our old one...
- went to super target and wal-mart with my parents
- practiced songs for the concert
- buffalo wild wunged it with awesome people
- won a round of the Countdown game with 7000ish points :)
- ALSO. We heard "Take on Me" by A-ha (see previous post)
Time to wake up early tamale!
Good nighting! [Click on the pictures for a larger, COO

ArtRage
is a drawing/painting program that I use with my tablet.
...haven't made any cool drawings yet. But, I did do a little tracing of a photo...which doesn't count as an actual drawing because it wasn't really original...anywho, take a gander (if you click on it...it shows a larger version):

well...there it is! Now I'm trying to come up with an original one...but tracing that was pretty fun.
*edit/ okay. I look at my drawing and it reminds me of the A-Ha music video....or am I the only one?
Truth Project number dos was very interesting as it discussed philosophy and ethics....too bad I'm going to miss the next one...though I've seen it already.
I still have to gather my dorm things! Gahhh..

incompleted wor---
--ks.
Man. I started my sketch & poker designs, but never finished them or sent them out for printing...but I guess I can't print them anyway because I lack funds. School starts in two-ish weeks, but moving in my dorm seals the deal when it comes to the beginning of the school year. I forgot to sort out my dorm stuff to bring...but it's only going to be a mini-fridge, mirror, lamp, clothes...and miscellaneous little things. Cleaning supplies don't come until later, when they're actually needed and pots and pans are the least of my concern haha. I think I shall give them a shot this year. My essentials are bowls and spoons for cereal.
Today I met up with KH and Jen at the starbucks near my abode and we worked on the website and I must say....it is really coming along now that the actual layout is more or less done. At the same time I was working the "Unknown Culture" logo and the "New Birth Christian Fellowship" logo. I also had to send Uncle Bayin the church logo in black via e-mail for iron-ons. I also created a picto-word thing by accident:

Did you get it? :P
anyway I think I'll go back to working on the other colors for the website...and on the logos too.
I think I'm zooing it up on thursday with my parents! Yay, we were supposed to go but my mom left for the PI. Hopefully it goes through this week!
two games that have the same exact goal...super simple, but fun (to me anyway)

**BUZZZZ**
I woke up to the buzzing of my phone this morning because my Mom called me down to eat lunch.
And then, after watching the first session tour of the Truth Project and eating pizza, we went to Denny's. It was nice to hang out with Faith, Anton, Christian, EJ, and KH :)
Tomorrow I'm meeting up with KH to work on the website...because it needs a lot of work :/
I'm also working on two logos; one for a church and the other...................well let's just say I needed a lot of help on it haha...

a little patience could have done it
gah.
sometimes, it's better wait instead of trying to get something right away.
anyway. I was reading Amos 4...and it talks about Israel not accepting God's corrections from their ways and not returning to Him even when He withheld rain, locusts ate their harvest, and even caused a plague, killing their people. Verse 12 and 13 struck out to me because this is God making them know who He is and the power that He holds over everything.
12 “ Therefore thus will I do to you, O Israel;
Because I will do this to you,
Prepare to meet your God, O Israel!”
13 For behold,
He who forms mountains,
And creates the wind,
Who declares to man what his thought is,
And makes the morning darkness,
Who treads the high places of the earth—
The LORD God of hosts is His name.
When I read the line "Prepare to meet your God, O Israel!", my eyes literally opened wide and for some reason I pictured that scene from Independence day when the mothership shot the huge beam down on the white house and destroyed it. I mean...it's not exactly the same thing, but that power and the lack of effort to destroy the building reminded me of how mighty God is (only He's like infinite times more powerful). It's so effortless how He can strike down with wrath, but even with that, He can also lend a gentle hand upon us.
Sometimes our human errors make God reach that point to where He has to remind us of who He is and to know our place when it comes to His presence and glory. I mean, how could we ever, EVER have a resume and skill set like God has? We can't form mountains, or create wind, or know people's thoughts and inner desires, or create an Earth let alone an entire universe! We especially can't create a way to salvation, especially sacrificing one's own son to provide it.
On a kind of different topic, today's message was really good and I liked how Pastor Ron mentioned "Let go and let God". It makes sense to leave everything under the care of the One who created and wants the best for your life within His will. People can be stubborn of course. I can be stubborn of course. Even so, God is always ready, even when we aren't.

sand castle + sand bear + frisbee = Sandastlebearbee
Today was pretty fun at the beach...and now I know how to get to and from it, thanks to Christian. I forgot how long that 76 was, so whilst driving, I was starting to wonder if I was supposed to turn in somewhere or passed it altogether, but NAY. I stuck straight to the directions and found my way home :).
My Dad and I went to LAX and at first I thought I was going to listen to my iPod and sleep while he drove (I was pretty tired),but I decided not to and got to talk to him about interesting/funny stuff, which was pretty cool. Also, we were waiting for my Mom to appear out of the terminal because she landed, and my Dad was joking at how all the filipino passengers were the last ones to come out...ah, sad but true (for the most part)
At home, my Mom gave us our souvenirs and nifty giftys...(hehe some of the clothes were kind of small though...Philippine size.) BUUUT I got a handy dandy canvas bag, a new onestrap mini-ish backpack, and a semi-mini backpack which was free. Backpacks galore! Sort of....
Anyway, this week has been quite interesting...some parts were like =0 and other parts were like >:V and the majority was like :D, but I dunno, these emoticons can only do so much haha.

neweth journey unfoldeth
and the new journey will be rightly named: "getting lost along the way"
:)
I'm going to print out directions to and from camp pendleton for saturday since it seems that no one is leaving early. I gotta admit, looking at the directions coming back from the beach look pretty confusing...only because I've never driven it. I'm leaving early because I want to make it back home to ride with my Dad to LAX to pick up my Mommmmmmmm...who is arriving at 8pmish that day.
I pray that a giant metal claw will pick my car up from the parking lot and onto my driveway.
---
fun fact: I was watching a video of The Killers doing an acoustic song in Abbey Road...and the drummer at that moment in the video, looked like the guy who plays Earl in "My Name is Earl".
gaaahh.

The movie for my ears
...is drawing to its fin...er...end.
What did I learn from these three albums from The Dear Hunter?
1. The use of different styles of music and instruments especially
2. The awesomeness of having a wide array of songs that are in the 3/4 measure (when some albums don't even have any!)
3. The cool musical mood settings for each song that correlates with the storyline and song title.
4. The ever cool usage and possible band likedness of using triplets in many many of their songs, but using them in a way that doesn't get tiring even after hearing it a lot!
5. Nice-osity.
It's super hot out there....with a scorching 104 degrees. My dad is bringing Popeye's chicken for dinner tonight as I have decided to stay at home. I haven't really seen my dad a lot because he comes home in the evening and i'm usually gone during that time or even the whole day :/.
Also. I started watching "The Rocker" at like 530am...but dumb megavideo stops it after 72 minutes and you either have to wait 54 minutes or pay for a subscription for it to continue....so I just went to bed ;).
-----
So, I found out that Muse is releasing a super-O deluxe box set for their Resistance album, which includes:
+CD
+DVD
+Digital Version on USB
+Double Sided LP
+1 Poster that has 4 diff color versions
And right now it's only available at some German site for €69.99 , which is equivalent to $100ish.
gah. As I read this, I was reminded of Christian telling me about the Paramore Deluxe box set thing... :(. I would totally buy it if I had the money and maybe if it was available at a site that primarily used the US dollar currency :). But alas, nay. I opted to just buying the CD + DVD. It was relatively cheaper...though it was only available in pounds (£). Oh well.
Speaking of Muse, I had the stupidest dream this morning. It was kind of like the other dream I talked about where I actually got to meet the band, but they left because all the other people were too loud. In THIS one, it was some person's party or wedding and the band was there as guests, not performers, and Matt Bellamy and Dominique Howard brought their fiances (I think only Matt has a fiance in real life, but even then I'm not sure) and I got a picture with them, but the lady who took the picture stole my camera. I also got to converse with Matt....but even in my dreams, it's hard to understand his normal speaking voice because he talks so darn fast, but at least in this, he was slightly better to understand. Anywho...it was cool until I couldn't find my camera and they disappeared :(
Those dreams never have happy endings. It's weird because I didn't even listen to Muse songs yesterday...I was listening to The Dear Hunter.
Anyway, just a random dream story.

Dang man, after Denny's I accidentally took the 215S instead of North, so I ended up exiting Winchester to go back on the freeway. AND alas when I got home, I noticed my phone had gone missing...so I checked my car, but to no avail. I actually went back to Denny's and praise God our waitress kept it for me even though I left it there for like half an hour!!! AHHHHHHHHH. I'm ashamed I don't even know her name yet to properly thank her :/. Buuuut, besides wasting gas and time, I got to listen to more songs from the awesomeness that is called "The Dear Hunter". It's a movie for my ears. :) A band that produces movies for my ears. In song and lyrical format.
Anyway, I don't think I'll be able to make it to the Tuesday night Bible Study OR Wednesday night :/. The former because I have to do errands and call a travel agency for my parents regarding Korea AND I should probably spend time with my Dad because he gets home in the evening AND I'll be gone from the house on Wednesday.
And now, I view my stuff and realize I should probably get back to work soon. No more chedders for me. I need to learn how to budget and to save money. :V

yes, that is a nikigator emoticon..or a duck, or just an alligator emoticon......I can also make an angry one:

also. i shall be absent on wednesday activities for I am going to OCMA!
Today was pretty.... :0 but as I sat in the chair with my notebook, I wrote "It's all about You." that's how it always is and how it should be, and today gave me a good reminder of it.
Anywhy, I was reading through Psalms last night and came across Pslam 145:24:
"The LORD upholds all those who fall
and lifts up all who are bowed down."
God is the Upholder of everything and even for the people who try to do things on their own power, He still catches them knowing full well that would happen. Aside from the ones who fall by their own means, He also upholds the ones who have that humility and know full well to wait and rely upon the Lord's strength. This verse really stuck out to me and this morning, I was reminded and I praise God for allowing me to read over it.
Okay now...I'm off to sleep..
